Inspection requests MUST<\/u> be made through the SDL portal.  The link may be found on our website on the Building Department<\/a> page.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

NJDCA now requires all requests for permit inspections to be submitted to the Building Department in writing. This can be done through our SDL software portal<\/a><\/strong> by clicking on the link below and following the prompts. An e-mail confirmation of your inspection will be sent to you when approved.<\/p>\n

CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION HOURS & REQUIREMENTS<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. \u2013 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m.  Construction may NOT<\/strong> be performed on legal holidays or Sundays.<\/p>\n

Rough inspections for Electrical, Plumbing AND Fire must pass prior to requesting a framing inspection<\/strong>.  If you are not sure whether or not a rough inspection is required, please call the Building Department before you proceed.<\/p>\n

*Torque requirements as per NEC 2020 will be enforced.<\/p>\n

Property must be baited for rats before construction begins for demolition, addition, new construction and any other work where digging\/soil disturbance takes place. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Contractors should be mindful of waste, especially human food, wood and cardboard.<\/p>\n
