The GFWC Saddle Brook Woman's Club was formed in May 1, 2012. The GFWC Saddle Brook Woman's Club was federated as a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC (NJSFWC) and is also a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, the oldest and largest women's volunteer organization in the world. Our club meets one Tuesday a month from September through June at the Senior Center in Saddle Brook located at 8 Caldwell Avenue. Coffee and homemade desserts by the members are available at each meeting. We welcome all new potential members to come to sit in on a meeting.
The GFWC Saddle Brook Woman’s Club was established in May 2012 and federated in September 2012 by the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Club of GFWC. We consist of approximately 45 members and continuing to grow our membership. We are a tax exempt, non-profit 501c3, all volunteered organization dedicated to helping families and individuals in our immediate community and beyond.
“Making a Difference” is our motto enhanced by our logo the yellow rose signifying “Friendship”, which is what we strive to do within our community and surrounding areas. Some of the causes we support are Domestic Violence Against Woman, local student college Scholarships, Saddle Brook Little League Challenger League, Saddle Brook Ambulance, and Fire Departments, Valerie Fund (camp for children afflicted with cancer), Autism, Building Homes for Heroes, the ARC (Association of Mentally Challenged Citizens Group) of Bergen and Passaic Counties, and Holiday gifts for numerous Saddle Brook families in need during the holiday season.
In order to accomplish our objectives, we have numerous fundraisers throughout the year, leading up to our Annual event in April. Every year we have different events that we hope will be an enjoyable evening out for everyone and allow us to raise significant funds.
As a member of the GFWC Saddle Brook Woman’s Club, you will achieve satisfaction.
