On October 21, 2023, my non-profit organization DFH will be undertaking our next fundraiser.
The Hawaiian fires were devastating to their people. They need help in so many ways to recover. We can be a part of this effort even if its in a small way.

I’d like to help the Sacred Heart School in Lahaina,Maui, Hawaii to refurbish its supply of educational materials for the students. They were completely burnt out. Can you join me in support?

Our event is called “Drums From Heaven”.This is our annual Halloween drum & dance. It will feature an interactive drum circle, (about 3 hours), cultural performances with The Caravan Belly Dancers, African drumming & musical surprises by Tommy & his Jigsaw band. Anyone can participate in our drum & dance circle.

Whether you’ve come before or your coming for the first time, we welcome you. No drum or dance experience is needed to have a good time. We will rock the house! This will begin our 19th year! Since 2005 you have helped me raise over $118,000 for a variety of charitable needs. I only call on you in April & October for support. Can you please help me help these students?

We would like to raffle some prizes at this event and are looking for any type of donation within your means. Merchandise, musical instruments, gift certificates, & gift baskets are great ideas. If you know anyone in sports, or music, entertainment, etc. who would autograph something for us to raffle that would be a help. Any cash donation will be most appreciated and will help us raise money for the fund.

Any checks can be made out to me Thomas J Hayes and will be forwarded. I don’t keep anything, after expense the charity gets everything we raise.

We will have our annual costume contest/parade with prizes offered to the best 3 adults and kids.(costumes optional). Tricky Tray prizes/raffles will be offered. A grand prize winner can win a cultural drum (Djembe). I’m hoping to get some great food donated.

Over the last 18 years Drums From Heaven has raised over $118,000 for worthy causes. It’s my sincere hope that you can help me make this next event a successful one too.

Volunteerism is down everywhere. I can’t do this alone. I am appealing to anyone who can help me set up the hall & or break down after 8pm. Just an hour in the morning and a half hour at night is all I’m asking. Without help I just can’t make this happen.

If you can’t come and wish to donate here’s how:
Use venmo, To Tommy Hayes@drumsfromheaven (if asked use # 1969)

If you want to send a check, please contact me for my address. Please circulate the flyer to like minded people.

Thanks for your consideration. KEEP YOUR DRUM ALIVE!
