This is our current Patch

This shoulder patch of the department went into service in 1995 until the Present. There is a slightly modified version of this patch which has the motto scroll of the State seal in slightly larger lettering. This was caused by a change in manufacturers.

patch_csb

This is the patch worn by officers assigned to the Community Services Bureau, in addition to the regular shoulder patch above. The patch was designed by the Bureau’s original members

** The original patch pictured to the left has an error which was not caught until after production and issue. The manufacturer inserted the State Seal of New York instead of New Jersey. 100 incorrect patches were produced prior to the error being caught. The second order was produced correctly.

sbpd_honor_guard_patch

2002 saw the design and implementation of a special patch for the Department’s Ceremonial Honor Guard. Sgt Richard Lasiw was responsible for the patch’s design as well as the implementation of new uniforms for the squad. The newly designed honor guard uniforms were placed in service in 2003.
We are unable to provide patches to individual collectors due to the overwhelming demand placed upon us for patches through the Internet, as well as for security reasons.
